Hi, I'm Reza from Jakarta - Indonesia, I'm new to this forum.

Yesterday I went to Lower Seletar Reservoir to try my luck, and it was my 1st experience fisging in Singapore. Went there solo for a 3 hours luring session. The result came not so bad, landed 3 snakehead (around 2 lbs) and a baby PB.

I'm looking forward for more challenging adventure for next trip. Maybe trying to fish in some illegal spots. Any recomendation? Or if any of you guys planning on having luring session this weekend cannI join?

Hi Reza, welcome to HLF and Singapore. I must say that's a good result for your first try on a totally unfamiliar place, and on a legal spot no less. Discussion on fishing in illegal spots is not encouraged here, the waterworks authority aren't too happy with anglers fishing in the non designated areas of the reservoirs.

You could try visiting a few tackle shops, many of their staff have interest in freshwater luring and ask if you can tag along on their trips.

Yep, planning on going to Ewaves tomorrow. Anyway caught a peacock bass today using yozuri shrimp at lower seletar.

LOL.. PBs are everywhere now huh.. Today caught even more PBs at Lower Seletar..

Hmm and I've been hearing complaints about lure fishing at LSR has been tough. It looks like a good time to give that place a try for the PB hunters. Good catch there again Reza.
