Daryl's Finesse Adventures!

Hi Folks! I am back!
After a long break from fishing as I was busy with my school and now army, decided to go back to luring with a new set up. I sold most of my tackle when I did not have time to fish but now after posted to a 8-5 vocation, finally decided to come back with a new bait finesse set up
Here are the catches mainly from Bedok Reservoir and Tampines Quarry!
Will start to record every trip from now and might get a sports cam to record my adventures!
Set Up Used:
Rod : Majorcraft Corzza BFS 4-12lb
Reel: Daiwa SS Air 8.1L with Hedgehog Air BFS Bearings
Line: Fire Line Crystal 6lb
Lures used: 2 Inch Salt Studio Sazanami Shad & 1.5 Inch Shirasu Swimmer
The First Trip - Bedok Reservoir approx 0800H start
My First Fish on the set up!
Followed by a baby temensis
Then finally a Peacock!
Second Trip: Tampines Quarry approx 0800H start
Hit a few more but never really took pic as I was in waist deep water hahas
I realise that Quarry has not been introduced with Temensis at all, never really hit any temensis there so far.
Third Trip: Bedok Reservoir approx 1710H start
On the Shirasu Swimmer!
Last Light at Bedok Reservoir usually has temensis frenzy just before sundown but getting them isn't the easier thing as they were so used to lures and the fishing pressure there at the legal ground is rather huge.
They would be quite far out blasting the guppies on the surface
Manage to hook one up using the shirasu swimmer with sharp jerks
Fourth Trip : Bedok Reservoir approx 1700H start
This trip was rather fun as I was not getting any hits at all then I decided to switch to using the drop shot technique and managed to hit one sizeable temensis on the first cast! and that was the one and only fish for the day.
Well I did catch a pretty Sunset so I guess its worth it?
Fifth Trip: Bedok Reservoir approx 1800 start
This trip is like 2 days later after the fourth trip. Caught roughly same size temensis but probably not the same fish, compared the tail markings.
Here is the fourth trip temensis tail shot
Here is the fifth trip temensis tail shot
Sixth Trip: Tampines Quarry approx 0900H start
First Fish is a nice humphead Peacock!
followed by a pretty sizeable Peacock on the dropshot!
Seventh Trip : Today approx 0600H start at Bedok Reservoir
Went for first light today, saw lots of action on the surface but the temensis arent hitting.
Only managed to hit of them after changing my retrieve to super slow bottom bouncing.
followed by a pretty quick hook up using the same technique but a peacock came up instead
and here's a bonus picture on the tilapia situation at Bedok Reservoir
crazy fun on bait finesse tackle but they are pretty hard to entice to get hook ups
Till Next Time ! Tight Lines and Cheers!!!
