Hi peace, i maybe going this weekend.
Hi Angelfishing, yes yes i brought this bugger home ,* its resting on my dinner plate*think the size is quite ok .abt 7-8 inches ba.
Am going to fried it and eat it. its still in my fridge.

ok guys.,..today i fried this fish. i did not chop off the head.only clear the innards.the taste is GOOD. no joke. my mum say the texture is soft.
No mud smell.

ps: the head dun chop off...the cheek got meat de! will post pics later hehe

yay!!! glad u have the courage to try it :) It is a very tasty fish. If bigger in size can make sweet n sour fish very nice one :)

I wish I can b like you :p I cannot bring myself to eat this ugly fish. :lol:

went again yesterday noon for abt 2 hrs, wifey caught a toadfish again ..me 0 catch .
I am a predatory fish keeper/fisherman/photographer.:)

Wah not bad, looks like your wife beat you to it ;) How's the overall catch on the jetty yesterday? It's spring tide so it probably encourages more fish to move into the northern waters.

ya lah ..i got a few bites ..i can see its tripod fish , those bums keep stealing my prawns hehe.
Saw those regular fishos caught a Chaoxi.

Not bad, still got chaoxi. Good thing is they're not fussy eaters, they'll take even small pieces of prawn meat or worms. They are typically found in muddy bottom so you may want to throw a bit outwards the sea if you want to catch them.

i think for getting this kind of fishes, i need to get a rod hehe. now i am still on training so still getting those toadies.

hey i came across dat Toadfish b4 at pungol. Cant remember who caught it, (dat was like more then 3 yrs ago) guess it has to be my fren. We din know wad fish it was at first... end up throwing it back into the sea. haha!! :lol:

Read up abt it in the webbie over the yrs, was edible... Today someone here proved its edible n also tasty! Thnx for all the infos ;)

The toadfish is pretty adaptive to our waters and can be found just about anywhere along our shores. I guess the sheer look of it deters many anglers from taking it home for dinner, including me. :lol:
