The grass is greener on the other side !

Post by dBs™ »

It's being quite a while since we last do some fishing on shore ...
Be it luring, surf casting or even luring.
Everyone is busy with work and both me and Simon are doing more offshore nowadays.

Missing the smell of sea water and the heat you have to bear fishing under the damn hot sun ...
A group of 6 anglers went in search of new fishing grounds.

I used to tell Simon then ... how nice if we can fish over there ...
Looks like my wish came through ...
Not knowing where to fish ... we eventually ended there ... my dream land !

One look at spot came the comments ...power power ..hao hao ...
The long stretch of breakwater ... grouper land ...good good !

Well ... you got to try it to find out ! ;)

Let the pics carry on from here ~ :starfish:

So you finally reached your promised land. :D Well it definitely promised you lots of rocks though. ;p But fret not, I think with proper gears you guys can yank out the many groupers hiding among those rocks. ;)

Wow Wow Wow.. 2 CRs up in a day! Well done dBs!
Thank you for sacrificing your sunday and fb to rush out the CRs.
We want more more more... please? :o :o

Been a long long time since oinkie and myself fished on shore.
Thanks to all the kakis we had so much fun by the sea once again.
The sun was really really hot that day but it didnt stop us from fishing.
Goby, goby and more gobies! Where are the groupers?
It was indeed a sangkot heaven....I have neber sangkot so many times in all my fishing trips!
I believed the sinkers i donated in this reclamation project alone is more than what I have lost during the past 1 year.
But what I enjoyed most was the mango ice dessert we had at the end of the day.

Yeap ... dBs in full throttle ! :D
Too many cr stacking up ... mai clear it will probably stay hidden forever liaoz.

It was great fun ...the sun... the sea ... the breeze and my friends in the wild ~
Glad loomis was able to join us too ..it's being a really long time since we last fish with him.

Well ... that place is promising despite being a sangkot heaven.
But if it's a goby land ... there has to be plenty of rocks right in there ...
When there are rocks ... there has to be gao hurr ! :shh:

I won't mind giving it another try ...
But this time with the right tackles.
Surf caster fall in !
I'll do luring .... easiest way to find out who the permanent resident are.

And yes ... thanks woofie for reminding of the mango ice ~ :cocktail:
It was an extremely hot day ... finished up all 4 bottles of mineral water ...
Ice cool stuff was what we craved for ...

We headed to 茶餐厅 Hong Kong Cafe for some ice desserts.
Stepped right into the air-conditioned cafe ... sipped icy cold milk tea ...
Best of all ... ice shaved mango desserts !

Visited this cafe several times but this is the first time we sat inside ... lol !

It was our first trip there ... lead in by a friend so I am not really sure how to get there.
Many people seems to have fish there already ... place full of many left behind rubbish by anglers. ::x:

Feels that surfcasting or luring is more suitable there.
Baiting with live prawns likely to have your prawns stolen by bait stealer prowling along the breakwaters.

Btw ... it is supposedly ... illegal fishing ground. :shh:
