ooops i did it again
SGPU -3/4 vs 8pounder kim 8.30 am match
had a hunch either seabass college 90s 1/4, strike pro popper prop 2/4, k-ten 90s (f) 3/4 will fetch me a fish. k-ten finally proved it's worth. having carried with me for so long.
felt something nibbling at the end. confirmed a fish after it starts tugging. gave it a light strike, then we began a tug of war. after an approximately 5sec line streaming, i engage another half turn on the drag. finally subdued after a rough 5mins.

Re: 8.30 am match
Nice work on landing the barramundi though a sloppy job on the photoshopping the background. Looking forward to more of your Kims.

6lbder landed with seabass college. brand: tackle house, model: seabass college bought from sabre tackle. it's a floating size 90mm http://www.tacklehouse.co.jp/junkseries ... ge_en.html it has nice darting actions. slow regular say 1 full crank in 2 seconds, cranking wriggles nicely and reflects. this 6lbder hit while i gave it a pause of roughly 1sec. while attempting to alert my friend of a surface swirl nearby.

Re: ooops i did it again
SGPU vs DoDDee -1/2 win 1.80 (handicap based on, he wasn't using his preferred tackle 'level', not carrying his preferred lures '1/4'. and his expensive reel '1/2' fair? )
SGPU
reel: caldia 2000
rod: nfc SJ 601
line: fireline 8lbs
DoDDee
reel: certate hyper 2500
rod: lake force stage
line: fireline 8lbs
condition: neap tide
weather: sunny, dry, warm morning
match kicked off as early as 5am. packing 2 coffee $1.80, 1 mineral water $0.66, pokka green tea $1.40 picked DoDDee about 5.30
gear up, he set off first. win $1.80 fact that he hadn't touched salt water for quite a while, off he rushed. he started off with chug bug mid size popper. me, been longing to land a queen with popper. i took out my (brand: strike pro, model: popper with tail propeller) unusal suspect
as early as 7am, 9lbder came to hit. the feeling just got better. released after photo taking.
SGPU 1-0 DoDDee
8.40am
all movements came to a halt. water got very busy. from afar, not sure if it was bait fishes frantically swimming from predators, or was it a whole school of kims.
took out my (brand: ima, model: sobat) re-conditioned sobad, casted with all my might. just cranking at regular speed. one of my most enjoyable. 8.25lbs was hit from a good roughly 50 meters. always wanted to hit fish from far. fight can last longer.
the first line streaming, suggest it's a decent size. i engage another quater turn to my drag.
subdued!
SGPU 2-0 DoDDee
DoDDee's analysis. kim hit from far, suggest they are hiding at drop off. without hesitations. he took out a (brand: shore impress, model: r-spec 90F) usal suspect. this is one lure i like very much. very nice darting, and rolling action. casting is good too. price is affordable, so low i consider it is extremely value for money. about $15 a piece. hong guan was carrying it.
this lure is so good that i am so sure i am going to grab it online.
SGPU 2-1 DoDDee
8.51am
9am
brand: tackle house, model: seabass college was summoned from my box of lures. few casts, a splash from distant. i alerted DoDDee to aim for it, as i pointing to the zone. this time it was truly 'the take was during the pause' we laughed in amazement. 4lbs.
SGPU 3-1 DoDDee
9.05am
hard work pays off. confidence grew with his yet another 4pounder still r-spec
SGPU 3-2 DoDDee
SGPU
9.17am
last piece of action of the match. DoDDee landed another with r-spec
SGPU 3-3 DoDDee

Wow, those are pretty hot bites within such a span of time. Very detailed documentation of your catches and you're always more than willing to share your fishing knowledge.
