The lookout point just opposite RYSC is one of the better spots, but too bad they put up a no fishing sign there as well. You can catch chermin, golden trevally, groupers, golden snappers, etc. You have to cast towards the marina, which is why I believe fishing is banned there.

Yes, it is West Coast Park and you'll know where it is as soon as you see the picture.

This is by far my best spot. That night we caught two snappers , one eel and one croaker, all about as big as my palm ( pitiful right D= That was my best fishing trip too) Never caught anything else there though. We used live prawns, dead prawns, and cut prawns
I wanna catch a big fish~~~~

The marina is the place on the opposite side where boats are moored. The marina is a good fishing spot by itself, you simply drop your lines down and you can land very decent sized snappers.

I agree, its either at the most right side near the longkang or, at the most left side where the people park the boat.gohyuheng wrote:At the longkang at the most right always have kim bak lor swimming about. Can go there use lure to target them

It's neap tides this weekend so water don't peak very high, so fishes may be reluctant to come in. The crab would have made your day if it had not escape, time to bring in th caged trap. Let's hope your new friend drops by HLF to say hi.
