waterfront cr

Went to waterfront when it was just open for public
and caught this by foul hooking them LOL im afraid this is the assam fish?

then a few hours later caught this by bread and by dropping under the jetty

and wow caught a snail and i thought i got snagged -.-

Lots of people call them Assams but I am not too sure myself. But I am sure that these are the many schools of herring you can see everyday at the waterfront. ;) Many anglers there hook up these 'assams' to use as baits. I too saw archerfish just below the jetty during my first trip there, the one you caught is pretty big too.

Ohh well still this acherfish was my first ever fish

archer fish are known to grow to 20-30 cm.... :shocked:
you can play on ultralight gear if you want .:D :D

hey, that a nice catch, been at the waterfront for so long yet never caught any fish like that.
Only caught this goby recently

Heh, that's a cute little goby you got there. Was it caught on tamban jigs?

Yup, you can see the green feathery stuff near the mouth
caught it along the break water during high tide.

oh well as they say its better than nothing right?
i been there for more than 4 nights no fish only this
i almost caught something but using a feather lure
but my guess its just been foul hook but then the fish got away :rant:
