Why should something be deem spam if everyone wants to see it? ;) Is this a recent cr? I heard tambans at Bedok Jetty is scarce lately, I wonder if it's true.

The sicklefish is a good catch, it's hard to get them when you're using big hooks to target for big fish.

Its caught by sarong worms
i think the fish was hooked for quite sometime my reel was kinda broken so any line pulled out is silent only bells so i did not notice till i see a significant slack of the line by the time the fish is all worn out fighting nothing lol

Heh, that's quite an unlucky fish considering the amount of time it had to find a way to break free. I'm more surprised that neighbouring anglers didn't notice your rod action, if they did, they didn't say anything. :S

unfortunately its was at night + during that time bedok jetty's left side most of the light are faulty (even darker) + the bell did not even ring due to the loose drag
my guess is erm 10 mins since the fish is being hooked because the fish was quite weak when i pulled it out 0.o

I been there lately and tamban are still common I feel
Certain jigs produce better but most importantly is to go on a good tide I feel

The tidal conditions is definitely a big play in the tambans mood to feed. The effectiveness of different types of jig will be apparent when the current is slacking or when the tambans are scattered.
