a 12g jig, affordable cheap less than $5, asisst hook bought seperately. i think its title asahi bought from sincere. was doing twitch, line retrieving cranks repeatedly. momentarily letting it drop to the bottom hoping for grouper or a snapper . . . was feeling hungry. . . but

Another trevally on jig by you again, I got to find out where you've been fishing! I don't suppose you're doing bottom jigging in a rocky area, are you? What's the snagging rate like?

I believe so, most GTs (small ones that is) I've encountered are at rocky/reef areas. Even those big game ones in regional waters are caught near rocky areas and feed near surface.

do you mean only rocky/ reef areas? what about the water cleanliness? does it have to be clean? i've heard water better be clean, green, needless to say, debris free.

Most likely..yes
GT are pelagic..they stay at one time then go to another place.
THey may stay at the BJT(Which by the way is a deathtrap )
Or the changi waters
But most of the time..its a rocky place.

That's a nice queenie on spoon, I've yet to land one myself. I've tried this ultima spoon before but I didn't manage to get anything before it got snagged and lost.
I know nothing about iphones but google seems to point to this application. Is that the one you're looking for?

Re: oops i did it again. . . 2011
yesterday, very coincidentally, the app points out the most suitable timing for fishing.
and we noticed the water was coincidentally active. i like to experiment more into. wonder how reliable it is.
interesting topic

Heh, you did say 'coincidentally'. I agree more testing must be done to arrive at some sort of assertion. By that you will need to log all the parameters of each fishing trip. I hope to see positive results from it, maybe then I can convince myself to buy an iphone.
