I often see a lot of people targeting for Sai Tohs at BJT. One whole stretch of anglers playing floats to get them
I tried that for a couple of times but never managed to get them.
They're good to eat and make good baits too. Great catch there.

Never use octopus as bait in BJT cos ive tried using it in four different occassion and guess what i've caught eel...no matter how far i cast..worse if u drop your line under the jetty..unless u are aiming for eels..this is base on my own experience..

I must try fishing at BJT one day ... darren, wanna meet up someday to fish there?
Have yet to land a Sai Toh Fish ... must be good fight looking at the Y shape tail.

heard from some old timer at bjt that at tajong katong sin song mart got sell live prawns. 1kg $4 only... any ideal is it real?

It's true darren ... Sheng Siong Supermarket .. 1 kg for $9
Gotta bring your own live prawn bag ...
Bought it once ... when I took extra water so as to keep the prawns alive, the staffs all stared at me.

so cheap. fishing cannot finish still can bring back makan. good for those for boat fishing save alot on bait.
