West Coast CR

Ive been missing in action lately... very long never fish arh. ( my long is about 3 weeks ? ) Father never bring me go... so decided to go myself. grabbed my rods and went to buy prawns as bait. Also brought my crabbing net , hoping for big crab...
So result leh?

Only caught one swajiam.... and a greedy mud crab refused to let go of my prawn. Crab net leh? never get any crab... but get this

Heh, looks like your tackles did a reverse role. :lol: Don't feel too bad, the catch might just get better on your next trip. I think the crabs are not interested to go into the crab trap anymore when they see the puffers are already in there.

Great effort and nice catch there. Admire you to be able to bring all the crab cage, rods and live prawns? along. Cant really imagine how your carry them :lol: :thumbsup:

guys going to wcp this tues night on my last fishing trip before two weeks of got to go reservists... So raining season is on tide is quite high wad would u suggest as baits and rig... Will be fishing @ wcp canal on the right side if ure facing the sea...

It depends what you're targeting for. I was there a week ago looking around and I see people fishing for rabbitfish. The water was pretty clear during high tide and I can actually see the rabbitfishes swimming near the breakwaters at the viewing deck though the size isn't very big. If you want to catch those, you can use a floating rig with bread or small shrimps as baits.

I will be there @ ard 12 midnite to ard 5 am which is im not wrong is 2 hours aft high tide and 5am is 2 hours b4 high tide.. I targeting rabbitfish and kbl cos my sister caught a rabbit fish yesterday during tide @ ard 2pm..

So i was hoping to get at least 1 of the fish on the right..

The pic is all below:FYI all this fish is caught @ west coast park @ ard 2pm near the longkang next to the shipyard...

That's quite impressive and you've got a parrotfish from there. :shocked: That place looks really good on high tide, I was there the previous week and saw quite a few rods parked along that section of the shoreline.

This is the place you're talking about right?

Peace: Yup ure right thats the place the tide was 3.1m when my sis when there last sunday....

I when there yesterday night tide was 0.7m fish for 3 hours came back empty coz my friend screw up bought the wrong bait told him to buy prawn but he bought small shrimp... But yet still in luck ahr coz the shrimp still gives me 3 usat and 1 sand whitting all release back...
