It was the morning 10am. Reached the jetty and was greeted by this signage ...
Cats around came meowing at us, as if they knew we had food (live prawns) ...
We proceeded to the end of the jetty...
.... Along the way to find many "ah lao" (old man) jigging for tambans ... they are damn expert!
An hour into it ... Linus came up with this ... (my camera's macro isn't that fantastic)
Well, we left the place at about 12:45pm and headed for SAF Yacht Club.
I really like the place and would plan to go there again - even though many other anglers would name BJT a 'too commercial' place to fish.
My first visit to Bedok Jetty

Haha if you're a newbie at BJT you should pay a visit on wkends [sat morning or fri nite] and take a few lessons from shoreangler. He's the Grand Master there...landed a 25kg cobia a while back. Live prawns are also not neccessary there actually...try jigging for tambans. They're just as good, and free too. As for SA, you can frequently find him at the right side of the T-junction jigging for tambans on saturday mornings.
