I don't know if that crab is unlucky to get caught by you or lucky that you threw him back.
This place seems to have potential for some fishes as well, did you do any fishing there? You better try crabbing a few more times there just to be sure you didn't miss a good crabbing spot.

Is this the one beside the NewWater plant? I used to fish there, but after the plant started running, they released warm water into the drain. Heard they were doing hydro testing, my prawn nearly got cooked =.=. Anyway, my friend ever got 8 kims in a day, but I can only get baby ACK there.

When I was fishing there, I used to see Thai & Bangla workers casting net during low tides. The thing that really make you mad is they don't care where you casted your line and just cast their nets. I believe our local fishing buddies will at least be polite enough to cast at other areas and not onto your line.

Netting can be a problem if used unresponsibility, what's worse is fishermen who discard broken nets or nets snagged at the bottom leaving there as a deathtrap for other marine life.

Well...u think bangalas working here know about "marine eco-sytem"
If they knew that, they will be in workplace(office) not working for construction projects!
They come here for money and if they can get a free lunch by say, netting the whole place, they wont think twice.
I hope they become more considerate.
Take what you need, leave the rest to someone else.
