Just to share another catch from that ah seng spot, no ah seng this time though. My friend caught a queenie on a spoon while I caught one of my favourite fish on handline, an ang gao. The queenfish had a bad bleed so it has to be taken home.

hey peace why i see the spoon you use in the pic and the spoon that is kinda like a spoon without the handle are diff? are they worked the same way?

yo peace, becasue queen's gills is very close to the mouth, almost every hit they are bound to bleed.

I guess it's not like a conventional spoon where you actually have one side which is concave in shape but it kind works the same way, or at least from what I observed my friend luring. The lure just spins and reflect light when you retrieve it. @SGPU: Yes, you're right. The fish seem over exhausted from the fight too. Your spot seem better than mine already.
