I believe it's because the spoon is always spinning and along with the treble, so the fish can get hook from the outside if it didn't have a perfect aim on the spoon. It's always nice to see your luring catches, lurer_HLF.

The needlefish skeletal head is impressive, it does make a very nice ornament.

The head is a real Todak's head, no painting was done, that's it's natural colours. The todak measures 83cm.

Natural colors !? Turn out to be a beauty. I would be most interested on how u preserved its skeletal head, would mind you explaining, vaguely, the process etc
