Angie, Simon, Jessica, raspiritz, loomis n gigi went fishing last night !

low tide was slightly past midnight at 1.3m
Since tide was not very favourable and we had no better places to go ...
went back to my old playground.

Simon n raspiritz both bought a 7ft Abu Ultracast
We agreed to hold a friendly match to see who land the 1st fish of the night.
we have kelong sotong, dead live prawns and salong as baits.
Upon reaching ... both quickly set up their tackles.

1...2...3...both casted out n park their rods by the railing.
tick tock tick tock ...time pass and both rods no action yet.
raspiritz came in with the 1st hook up .... a bristle worm !
Too bad ...we agreed before hand it has to be a fish.
Simon landed the 1st fish of the night ... a sand goby !
He became the winner of the night too with 1 eel, 1 goby and 3 gelamas.
Jessica was the runner up with 3 gelama.
Loomis caught an eel tail too.

raspiritz was trashed 5-0 by Simon.
hope you can break your rod's virgin soon.......

hehe... it's not a very kind day for me... 0 catches plus 3 sangkot at a place which was suppose to have low sangkot rate.... and badly thrashed... by shifu.... lol

never mind... I'll be back!!!!

anyway.... Jessica only caught 2 gelemas hor...

My turn. I went to do a little fishing on my own yesterday. I was hoping to get a biggie but there was not even a decent bite on the line besides annoying crabs that kept sniping off my live prawns. I deployed another rod using dead prawns and was surprised to get my first orbfish! More surprising is that this little fish had such tiny mouth and was managed to get caught on a size 2/0 hook, and I didn't even set the hook. After some more trying, I only manage to caught a kekek. Nothing was caught on live prawns in the end.
