Early in the morning got a morning call ... any op today ?

Finish work was about mid noon le ... but our die hard angler Ian fishing alone since morning

Rush home grab rod n next thing we fishing besides him under a big tree
Tucks into not so delicious char kuey tiao n kopi
We tried a special bait of the day, hum aka blood cockles !

Besides the one n only edible croakers landed by Ian
plenty of small kitties n pesky fish came stole our baits.
as for the hum ... bo hurr jiak

Grouper was caught on last Saturday night.

Sounds like you guys had a fun trip, and a nice grouper and a croaker to go with, they'll make great on the dinner plate. Really no fish touch the see hum at all? I would think that catfish and pufferfishes wouldn't pass on a free meal like this!

Being busy lately, had no time to wet fishing lines at all.

Squeeze some time out n join Ian who was fishing since morning.
Though a short 3 hrs ... its was enjoyable n helps kill some itch.

Landed this Grouper

So share with us what did you catch before we join you.

You guys are doing great on the saltwater department, I on the other hand is short of saltwater spots...perhaps I should sneak over to your side to grab a few fish sometimes. I went for some freshwater fishing the week before and caught a few fishes too.

Caught this toman on the very first cast! (That's because I spotted the toman before that )


I spotted a few of these parasites on the fish. It's circular, and moves easily when you pushed it. However it grips very tight on the scale when you try to pry it out.


Caught an arowana with an old injury, or possibly a birth defect.


A Zebra Tilapia, I saw a group of them but only managed to nab two of them. The rest got really smart after that.

ok.... here it goes.... i was luring.... and zzzzzz zzzzzzzzz... chut suah.... wow si bei shiok... first time zzz zzzz ma....
but 1 minute later.... the shiok feeling becoming si bei sianz.... cause i saw a cat staring at me... BELUKANG... ta ma de... tian li he zai!!!!

Being rather busy lately ....squeeze some time off one night n went for a short session to cure some itch with lady Jessica.

As its more of a relax chit chat session ... nothing that looks like a fish was landed.

But!

Lady Jessica proves it once again ... her egging skills.
I simply cannot believe it ... she did it again !


She had a rare catch that night too ... a baby python !
n ... this catch made us realise why she refused to let us catch a bigger mama phthon
we once chance upon for a photo session.

Hope Simon's sudden action of chasing after the baby n grab it by its head didn't scare u

I wish I could share the way she holds the snake dangling from the rod as far as possible from her.

I have to thank Jessica.
She brought up the baby n bring it all the way back for me to take some nice photos.
She would have just shake it off her "bait"

its a little different from pythons but this DF water snake seldom bites though its mildy venomous.
