Update time!!

Made a last minute change to bedok jetty for convenience sakes.

Rather disappointing trip actually, didn't really catch much :(

Here's the catch!

1 quite big flower crab that ate my swajiam and got hooked
1 kelong chi on prawns
1 tiny toad fish who swallowed an entire swajiam :o

However, there were plenty of tambans :D :D :D

Brought home for store for future fishing trips :p Anyone want to make a guess how many there are here?

It's surprising that the toadfish took on your swa jiam, it must be starving. At least you got plenty of tambans, I'd say there's about 70 of them in the box!

Bedok seems to be hot with tambans recently :D
Did the tamban activity stretch from 7am-12pm? I went at that time last week and got many too haha
There were also big anchovies that everyone was excited about

From this mornings' trip to wcp :p
There were more whitings but they ended up as bait... No takes though :(

Ooh leatherjackets, one of my favourite fish and they look pretty big too. You got the mottled species of swa jiams too. :)

Try frying it first and add some bean paste to cook with, it's very nice. Remember to remove the skin first. It's a good quality fish, so steaming it can be great too.
