The only acceptable catch for the night... Got 1 more abt this size appear near shore, resting at daybreak (7am) waded to knee deep water and try to hand catch it... Failed epically... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Next time use net... πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
Also got 1 big rotting dead kbl wedged under rock at the breakers, probably ppl caught then sangkok line under rock. 😐

Pretty interesting catches there, yes it's a thundercrab. The claws are supposedly edible, I've personally have tried it but not its body.

This is a moon crab and it should be edible but they don't grow very big so there's not much meat to take from it anyway.

I can't complain if it makes a good dinner, what's the other smaller fish in the dish? :D

Thanks for the ID, as for the other small fish, i forgot to took a pic when caught, it was given to me by a passing Malay angler, i think he caught it on small cut prawn... The small fish has hard shell on cheeks, like armour plating... Could be a Longhead Grunter? (Goo Hoot?) πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
Also update from my uncle, he went to labrador park today, got a small seabass, 2 small parrotfish, and a damselfish, my granduncle got a couple of tambans today, at the jetty, would have tagged along to fish and photograph if i hadn't woke up late ... :(
Will be off to Changi to fish again tomorrow night! :)

That's most likely it. Thanks for the update, Labrador park having tambans is always a good sign over there. Good luck on your fishing today!
