Just return from a short eging trip.

I guess my squid quota really used up ... landed only cuttlefish.
I'll used them as baits for fishing tomorrow ! :mischieve:
Hope will get some nice fatty grouper with it. :D

Wah, looks like the squiddy actions are back from you guys. Keep up the good catch but leave some for me. ;) Today I was fishing and saw someone landed a squid not too far from me, I can only watch and drool. :o

No where to go after work as the nite still young ....
went to play with the squids despite being full moon night.

raspiritz meet us there later but he managed to witness Angie's magical power.
Guess what Angie caught last night ?
It's a snake ! :mischieve:
Place was packed with squidders ... no choice but to shift to the far back
It was quiet for as long as I can remember ...no bites nothing landed
then suddenly ....I felt a very strong take!
Wheet weet! thinking its a BIG squid lor ... I almost jump in joy even before landing
as the catch got nearer ........ " omg !" came my favourite words.
It's a sea snake! :yay:

All I remembered ... I handed the rod to raspiritz the moment I realised it was not a squid.
This poor snake must b real famish.
It took my jig again later on.

Simon landed the record sizes squids n cuttlefish.
It will be tough to break this record due to the sizes.
All cuttlefish were released while the squids ended up in my pineapple fried rice today.

I did miss a big one .... strike so hard twice I dislodge the long tentacles. lol !
No pics as batt flat n ixy not with me.
Photos were taken with raspiritz's handphone. :p

Very nice harvest considering you can still release back all the cuttlefish, that'll make other anglers' eyes green. :D A pity there's no picture of the silly snake that went after your jig, it must be fighting for food with the many squids there.

A cr I almost forgotten for the simple reason ...
Angie has been going home empty handed lately
Squid index dropping from 9/10 to 1/10 liaoz :sweatdrop:

Simon's squid index seems to be dropping too ... size getting unbeatable!
or was it the neap tide ?
Not much squid landed these few nites

Mayb it's time for a break ... but ...but ...
Orders for the green eyed monster still pouring in ! :yay:

Those are very nice sizes for bait even for using it whole. My friends and I ever tried using these green eyes on one of our offshore trip and he got a big grouper from it. :) Good luck on your upcoming trip. :clover:

That was cool !

We tried bringing these greeny all the way to Sedili but fishy there refused to bite.

Have not tried it locally yet so I guess we should bring some on our next trip with Ah Pong. ;) :clover:

I have a crazy idea ... what if we store the greeny until chow chow :mischieve:
