Welcome home raspiritz ! :D

Misses him so muchee ... we took him fishing once he landed back in Singapore. :yay:
Had a wonderful time eating tit bits from Japan
Thanks raspiritz ...and sorry meow meow we had them before you :o
The "french fries" really nice !

Simon the lucky champ of the day with a nice size snapper.
He misses a big take just before high tide this morning. :(

Tere landed a fish on lure
While I was in dream land fighting for my big one came a sound
tock tock tock .... tock tock tock ....
It was Tere ... trying "hard" to get the sleepy angie to wake up at 3am
to have his prize catch photographed !

Raspiritz didn't loose out, took angie rod with a new rig "tian yu shan hua" ( 天雨散 花 ) to play. lol !
It's a rig bought off the shelf with some beads to separates 5 hooks rig together with wire trace
suppose to target small fish but somehow this rig doesn't seems to work.
The baits twirl together once cast into water.
But raspiritz landed an eeltail with it.
One big fish was released by raspiritz.
Angie woken up by the noise but went back to sleep seeing a big kukut. :mischieve:

The whole stretch of my playground was lit up with bright powerful spot lights.
Make us feel like we were in the national stadium watching a match.
The place was exceptionally crowded.
A group of anglers fishing some distance from us landed a nice size tiger grouper.
we can see it clearly from far.
I was playing with a squid jig but it seems that the "light"
attracted many many small flower crab n not squid!
Angie catch no fish but caught plenty of sleep
thus able to write this cr while the guys must be sound asleep by now . :yay:

Welcome back Ian, just landed only and you're 'abducted' by dBs and Simon. Not a bad catch, at least a lot better than mine today. :p Congrats to Simon for his golden snapper catch, but it's a pity the biggie got away. Tere's catch is interesting as well, to catch a catfish on lure...I do hope to land one on lure too but I ain't taking it home. :p How can Angie sleep with all that spotlights, I recommend using scotch tape if you feel sleepy. :mischieve:

Nothing much for me today except wave after wave of rain. :raincloud: I almost landed a queenfish, but it spit the fishing hook out right in front of me.

Not bad ! You can have fish for dinner ... 4 days with 4 different style of cooking.

Keep the ikan billis for the last day !
Remember to add lots of salt ! lol !

Will be taking Miss Jessie along ...her virgin trip ! :mischieve:

The ikan bilis is my favourite fish among the catch, wish I had caught more though. They're meat is really soft and sweet.

Good luck on the Sedili trip guys, have fun and a safe trip. :clover: Angie must take extra care for Jess, okay? ;)

This week I went hunting for my favourite yellow fish. It's pretty hard to fish along the shore as it's neap tide, but nonetheless I managed to dig some fish up. :p I tried to target biggies but ended up with bristle worm after bristle worm on my hook, I guess the water just isn't right today.

ahem ! our cr for this week !

It's being quite awhile since our last outing fishing together.
All were busy with own works ... I miss the sea breeze dearly.
Stashed work aside on Sunday n went fishing !

Reach spot very early just so we are able to "chop" the tree to enjoy the shades.
Simon set up his tackle n started to fish.
Angie grab the S3 n went hunting for her pet. ;)

Just about noontime when tide was almost high
Simon rod had a strong take
we got excited seeing the rod tip bend to a small C
Grab the rod, strike n came a not very excited expression on his face.
I knew it must be an ah seng liaoz ....
But ...the fish peeled some line n did gave us some fun n joy
it refused to surface, gave a hard dash downward trying to escape when it got nearer to the high wall
For one moment ...I thought might be something else since it's so strong n fierce
Then came the shadow of a silvery Mr Seng !

We kept it alive in water with a fish clip.
It was later given to a friendly Malay family fishing besides us.

The sun was so generous with the sunshine n heat.
We finished up all the water just after noon.
Lucky thing raspiritz joined us with icy cool slurpee cola!

He was rewarded with a "big" fish. :D
Angie caught four anchovies with jigs.
Had wanted to catch more for my mum but ...
took me an hour to catch those miserable 4 under the hot sun :sweatdrop:
they ended up on our dinner table n ...
Yes Peacy ... they are sweet n nice to eat !

Really enjoy the day out at 17th.
The road leading into the fishing ground had been levelled up so no more bumpy ride in.
The area remain tightly petrolled by police.
Didn't see the two dogs till late noon.
I was on my last round of harassing the bugs n saw them taking a nap under some-one's lorry.
They saw me n came running towards me like little kids.
Gave them the remaining chicken wings from our lunch.

Will be back for more fun !soon ....

Wow, that's a big seng simon got, that makes him the winner for the day. Here's a  to him for the good fight. What's that fish that raspiritz caught, is that a Saddle Grunt? Angie's plate very big, there's still room for plenty of sweet sweet anchovies! How's the kekek taste by the way?

My catch isn't any better, some smallies to keep me occupied through the hot day, I would have sell my soul for a brain freezing slurpee. :p No luck on the biggies, I guess I should find a new spot somehow...
