Trip to my friend's Fish Farm

It was the 29th Jan 2007 (Mon) .. we boarded on a sampan .. just the 4 of us... Ken, Iskandar, Steven and Me ... it was just a 7 mins ride from loyang temple to the Fish Farm .. and this is how the fish farm looks like ...






We are only allowed to fish by the sides of the fish farm or anywhere where there's no nets ....

Everyone's motivation was lifted when Ken came up with the AZK ....



Then this bugger bit my line .... the Spotted Sicklefish



and the actual size ...



We kept everything we caught for the day ... in total: 25 Catfish, 1 Russel's Snapper, 1 Spotted Sickle, 1 Toadfish, 3 Lattice Monocle Bream & 1 crab.

Nice catch again, though we should take note that fish farms aren't supposed to allow visitors to fish there. It must be very tempting to dip your hooks into the net ya Did you mange to see what types of fishes they are rearing?

The spotted sickle fish is pretty big, nice! It's a little difficult to tell from the small pic, but the snapper should be a John's Snapper (not Russell's)

POWER NEWBIE ! u r very lucky to have the chance to embark onto a kelong fishing trip the kelong looks very clean n neat Thats a nice size sickle fish u got.

Very nice offshore catches too.
