A Memorable Day with Uncle Fong ... Simon says tide sweeh !!

Simon says tide sweeh ... tide sweeh .... Changi Offshore anyone ?
This is going to be an extremely memorable trip shared by the lucky four; dBs, Simon, Oinky & Loomis.
It will probably keep us talking about it for a long long time ...
The fight, the joy, the excitement, the cheering, the competition among ourself ... the list goes on ...
It was kinda last minute booking ... a date which was not our first choice.
But since it's Simon says tide sweeh ... sms were send out to all kakis.
Eventually ... the lucky four had an experience of a life time together !
Early in the morning ... merely reach spot ... I was still setting up my rig and the first round of cheers came loud and clear ...
"Simon tio hurr liao ! "
He is always this fast ... or is he smelling extremely chow chor today ?
A nice size guhood landed.
Quickly ... all had dropped lines by now and awaiting for their turn ...
Before I could settle down ... "Simon kor zai tio hurr liaoz !"
This time ... it's a beautiful chermin !
A catch which really shot our spritz and confident up to 100%.
It went on like this ... each taking turns to bring up some nice shiny mirrors.
A total of 15 shiny mirrors collected by us at the end of the day.
Another record broken ... our last best was 11 chermins on our very first trip with uncle Fong.
Spritz was high to the max ...
We felt like uncle Fong taking us going round visiting Changi fishing pond.
First to Chermin pond ... then to ang zhor pond ...
Next to grouper land ... last to GT fields !
Can choose de worr ... lol !
Jokingly ... we asked for threadfin holes !
We almost got our wish answered !
While chatting with Simon and loomis ...
Loomis had a strong take which send him jumping up on his feet.
Line flew out of his spool in a strong steady speed ...
Uncle Fong came rushing over to help ...
Did we land the monster ?
Look out for the videos.
An extremely memorable trip we had.
It's non stop action since morning ... almost loh jiak loh jiak with small intervals for rest.
Each time we approach the live well for prawns ... our heart miss a beat.
Stock running low ... and it's merely past noon time.
Each landed a minimal of 4 fish.
Simon won the high achiever award .... a personal best of 15 fishes, 7 Chermins !
I had a wonderful time competing with uncle Fong.
We landed fish together one after another ... it was such a close race.
I lost with 2 fish at the end of the day with uncle Fong scoring a nice 13 fishes !
Loomis had his share of fun with Queenie while oinky played with trevalley.
All had a good time laughing and cheering each other on.
Several biggies got away ...
I even had one which straighten my hook !
We had such good time ... enjoying every moment of it to the max !
Alright ... I know ... pics more interesting ...
But ...
There were not many pics coz I was quite busy fishing.
