Season Finale on SC3188J with Uncle Fong ...
Our 11th Trip with uncle Fong this year ...
I truly hope we will get a good harvest as the morning's weather look promising to begin with.
The sky was clear and tide was good ... all look set for a good day's fishing.
The usual routine to pump up petrol and then proceed to aunty's farm for baits n ice blocks.
Soon ... we were already fishing somewhere not very far from the ferry terminal.
Woofie register the first catch of the day with a nice size guhood !
Well done woofie.
She dropped line barely 1 ft away from me and it was like ..drop and goal !
O ... not to worry ... dBs caught up with her real soon.
I too rang the register with a grouper ..ting ting ... 2-0 !
And yes ... it's girl's power on show again !
Next ... woofie dug up a big fat grouper from it's sleeping hole.
When we thought it's going to be a fantastics day out ...
Everything quiet down suddenly ...
Hours passed ... stress started to set in.
What worst .. it started to rain !
We were not dampen by the sudden change in weather ...
Continued our fun and laughters ..making fun at each other.
Time passed quickly ... score was still 3-0
Uncle Fong decided it's time to give grouper land a try !
And the real fun begins ...
We drifted up and down ..left and right ...
It was pretty fun ... water was shallow ... when we hit rocky zones ..heart started to beat faster.
Scare sangkot lah !
The most candid catch came from Simon and uncle Fong, they got hookups almost simultaneously ...
It was raining and those without rain coat were fishing from inside of the cabin.
Uncle Fong stuck his head out from the small window ..
Talking to Simon ... both of them fishing side by side ...
Suddenly Simon got a strong take and next thing I know ...
Uncle Fong was trapped in the small window trying to fight his fish too ...
Simon didn't give a chance at all ... the grouper came right up like being haul up by a crane ! lol !
He quickly took over uncle Fong's rod from outside ... freeing him !
It was funny and comical ... seeing uncle Fong half way out of the small window trying to fight the fish.
Despite the rain ... which never really stop after it started right after noon ...
We still register a good haul of groupers, snappers and a silver grunter.
Woofie is the overall winner of this trip.
A beautiful ending to an almost perfect trip ...
