Caught this with tambam hook... The mouth is really small

the 2 emperor fish i caught it with size 7 fishing hook and life prawn i bought from sheng siong.
to increase the chances for a better catch, i hung one net filled with cockles and chopped tambam.
i hope to learn more fishing tips. maybe what bait to use in changi water so that i can have better catch during my august fishing trip !! :D :D

Nice, whose boat did you went on? The chumming (the net with the cockles/tambans) idea should help, the scent will be very strong and attracts fish to come. I'm looking forward to see your catches in August, wish you the best of luck!

Edit: Welcome to HLF. :)

50 dollars per pax with everything provided is very worthwhile for local offshore, I've never tried that boat before but it looks good. Looking forward to more of your catches. ;)
