Was chatting in the chat-room with tamban last night and he actually remembered it's that day of the year again, perfect 10 day ! :cake:
Just one year ago this day, we fish for the first time together.
How time flies ... one year has passed.

This is only the 4th trip for us with uncle Fong this year.
The last one was in March which see another two trips cancelled due to his boat's engine causing some major problem.
Monsoon has come early ...
This is likely to be the last trip of the year for us ... and it ended beautifully.
It's definitely another trip to be fondly remembered ... 34 fishes with 8 wonderful kakis including myself.

It came as a surprise as it rained heavily the day before, water was cold and I was expecting heavy shower from the weather's man forecast.
Gusty wind and choppy current keep us company ... roller coaster rides was not fun anymore.
"Light" drizzles bestow on us towards late afternoon ...
We used up every single live prawns we had !
It's a signal to tell us ... time to pack up ... we did and all was happy.

Anglers happy coz everyone caught something.
Yes ... dBs also caught THREE fish ok ... including the cuttlefish lah. :o
Uncle Fong is happy also ... it's a good trip and he should get a well deserved rest.

Edit: Here's a few more pics I stole from woofie's FB a/c ... ::x:

It can't get any fresher than this ... almost straight from the sea ~

Main course of the night was Steamed parrot, courtesy of Oinky.
Guhood steamed with chai por, thanks to ah boi.
And Simon donated his big grouper to deep fried ... so so so delicious !

Always look forward to dinner time ... love all the good food and fresh catch cooked to perfection by the restaurant's chef.
The cooking was good this time.
Love the new dish of garlic pork ... very nice !

Thank you all for making it another very happening offshore trip.
We will be heading to Rompin this weekend ...
Time to introduce Crist for some bigggggggggggggggggg fish !

Have a good week ahead and tight lines everyone ! :clover:

Well, the monsoon will give the fishes breathing space from all the fish hooks and baits..... :D
Next time you fish, the fishes will have forgotten how a fish hook looks like!
Urrrgh, no time to fish now~

That's a surprisingly good catch, I saw the sky that day and thought you guys are in for a wet day. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves especially tamban, just look at the wide grin on his face with his grouper. :D Happy birthday to dBs too, hope she will get a big one at Rompin to celebrate.
