8 months later ...

Post by dBs™ »

First local offshore of the year for us ... and yes, 8 months from the last trip we had with uncle Fong.

Changi water still has it's magical charm.

We were greeted with surprises, a total revamp on uncle Fong's boat.
Besides new paint works, the two wooden benches were removed for more spacious cabin area.
Maybe he just didn't want us to sleep ... lol !

There were few surprise catches, 3 of us landed "good" size marine catfish.
Sound atas right ... ah seng jiu sh seng lah lol !!!
A colorful stargazer was landed by one of our kakis.
It's also a first time we've seen this fish in Changi waters.
Met a school of queen with few misses and 1 landed.
It was cnr-ed.

Another fun filled trip with great fishing company.
All went home with enough fish to last a week I hope :p
And yes ... I'm getting lazy to do CRs ... so enjoy the video ! :yay:

Aww, I was expecting a fanciful catch report from you like you always did. :p Looks like fishing on the east side is still good despite all the continuous land reclamation works. Those Guhoods are to die for, makes me want to book Ah Fong's boat for a fishing trip. Very good catch!

Hah, that's a lot better. Looks like fun onboard despite the some line crossings that can be seen. The Ah Sengs are pretty big I must say.
