That's a decent no less, a nice variety of fishes from tuskfish to groupers. :) What were the targeted live baits that were intended to be used; are they supposed to be bought or caught on the spots? Looks like a fun trip, but sky doesn't seem too friendly though. :raincloud:

I'm not too sure on catching Live baits there .... but prior to this trip, another group of friends went up with LIVE Prawns from Sg and hauled a good harvest of 50 pcs of fish ...

I guess its always better with LIVE baits for offshores ....

Finally you are back ... was waiting for your catch report. :yay:

Hey ... dats not too bad. At least have some nice size groupers. My Mersing trip was a total disastrous trip. :(

I had to cancel my Desaru trip due to work commitment.

Till then ...let's hope for a big harvest for the 17th-18th Sedili Trip. :clover:

Nice Catch Brother!

The Desaru sea look a tad choppy.

Good haul of Groupers there. I can imagine the numbers of fishes you would have landed if you had used live bait instead.

Nvm, you can always go back there in the future and try again. Nice work!
A bad day at fishing is better than a good day at work.

Live baits definitely works better but there's always more effort involved in getting them. It would be easy if it can bought from Desaru, otherwise bring it all the way from Singapore can be a little troublesome. You can bring some tamban jigs there to catch some bait fish to try out for some super biggies too. ;)

Desley nice catches ! Yum Yum ... Those slightly darker/stripped groupers seems to have higher chances of being "loh koh". How was it?

The boat got life preservers or not? Go on boat must check check where's the location first. Its SOP ... Just incase ler .. the waves and currents not that kind de
