Valentine's Day 2009 at FW3


What a Valentine Day for me ....

Not only was my dearest Simon fishing by my side ...
I had a wonderful Valentines Day with my fishing kakis Tere, Arsenal, HolyChef and Steven Yap !
The best gift from FW3 ... a 19lbs Barramundi.
Thank you FW3. It's the best gift I received. :lol:

Trying to recount the moments .... I was tired out sitting by his side relaxing and complaining at the same time ...
" ... dear dear ... I haben catch a kbl yet leh ...*sad *sad " ... "
I retrieved my line with Simon having a good laugh as he saw that my prawn had no tail and no sword on it's head.
Trying all patterns to entice the kims to bite mah ....
".... go change a prawn lah ... no tail de it's not lively .... " said a laughing Simon :rant:
Came back quickly with a very cute and small prawn ... hook onto the tail and right infront I dropped ! ::x:

Barely sat down ... I saw the floater goes ... down ..up ...down ...up ...and it's GONE !
Line flew out and I got panicked ... not expecting result as I was in dry spell since noon !
Simon gave it a hard tug and it's fish on for me ...
I gave it another tug to ensure a firm hookup ... I was shocked with the first feel ...
It's heavy ... very heavy ... I can tell the fish was really heavy ...
The same feeling I had when fighting a patin in Bungsamran. :thumbsup:
thus drawing the conclusion it's a CPC ... telling those guys it's CPC.
Only Simon insist it's a KBL and the fish confirm this when it peeked it's head out to look at us.

My 19lbs KBL @ FW3 ! :D
The biggest we have landed thus far .... POWER is the word. :thumbsup:

Rest of story ... let the pics do the telling for me :D
I am too excited to write or you guys will end up seeing wall of words again ...
O ...forget to tell you all ... my arms still pain pain leh ... lol ! :lol:

Nice CR! Especially liked the comments - VERY funny. The photos are as always very well taken.

Wished we could have gone to FW3 on Saturday but we went on Sunday morning. Landed only 1 CPC during our 3 hour session. Must be due to you guys giving all the fishes a toothache the night before. :rant:
