i went fishing on last sunday, my wife jio 1

so after depositing the 2 rascals at my parent place, we went straight down
reach the pond about 11am+

and the only available bait from counter is diao keng, no chicken liver, no prawn...

started fishing in a while and about 30mins later, team 7 arrived
and they start to fish next to us

chef reach about 1pm+ and he oso started to fish
ask me got fish bo, i shake head

all the way till 3pm+, no action
and my wife told me we need to leave soon, so i say ok, 4pm

about 3.40pm, darren from team 7 got a big take, quickly i keep and line
and chef start shooting (finally he got chance to use liao )

from my limited experience, i reckon this is a above 20kg meow
with his tackle set, i tink it shld take at least an hour

i was sitting at my place as i know this is only the beginning
as not many ppl fishing tat day, but many ppl prawning

and darren become the attraction of the day

part 2

darren got a load of supporters behind him after about 20mins
he was fighting the cat from behind the fence, to standing on the platform outside the shelters

xiao pang was standing half naked standing behind him, waiting...
and jokes from his team 7 keep popping up

like, "oi, give u 10 more min, else cut line liao"
" oi, 你开个人演唱会啊？"
then dunno who say:" u see darren face start to cramp liao..."
etc.. and
xiao pang try to wipe his "sweaty forehead" with a dirty rag hanging on the fencing

as his big cat still roam around the pond, every1 line is up
one of his buddy line is cast at the most right end still
and his buddy say " oi, u better control the cat, if it come and entangle my line, i cut ur line then u know"

i went back to my seat and relax, after listening to all his frens suaning the solo performer
sianz, so i decided to cast a live tilapia into this quiet corner and i tink i shld be safe from that cat

load and cast into my last hope
walk back to the crowds and start to add fuel to fire (suaning darren togther with his team mates )

while watching and joining in the fun, chef told me he saw my rod kana a strong pull
when i look over, the rod is back in normal position so i didnt bother to walk over and check it out

after about 5mins, i tink the fight would not be up so soon, so walk back to my seat
when i reach my rod position, i notice my line is very very slack, and near to the edge of the pond

so i suspect i got a fish, pick up the rod, tighten the drag
reel in the slack line and tarek!



i got a fish!!

it jumped, and disappear into water again



it is a short fight, as the fish was kana ambushed




the highlight is what u guess?

darren actually lost the fish while i was fighting this fish
and just so happen, all the crowds just shift over to my location
suddenly become a superstar!

up came a KBL, it is not a big 1
but it broke my personal 2 records
1) my first KBL from fw3
2) first fish in 2009

si ginna talk like got big fish!! limpeh read till so interesting than a small KBL!!
lol.....btw oso good lah, as u know fw3 now the water there is like low tide every hours.
the water condition is not so good like those times we when there, water there is getting lesser n lesser maybe no rain = no water.

No dobt it's a juvenile fish ... but ... a catch is a catch ... well done.

I read the 1st part ...saw the 2nd part pic, your catch ... but haven read

=) told u le! your rod got bend den come back... lol after you gone i got 2 miss though.. one is rod bend but den my drag too tight than fish cannot drag line go out it throw hook.. another one is drag too loose by the time i tighten and strike fish throw hook
