If you mean SAF yacht Club, you can try live prawns there or even dead ones are okay. Good place for chermins, queenfish, groupers and snappers. Good luck on your fishing trip with your family. :clover:

What bait are u using ? If you are using live prawns might need a little bigger hooks like 1/0-2/0.
For prawn meat size 6-8 is fine.

Your rod is good enough. Remember to cast to different spot since it is long enough to reach certain distance :D

Its like a mini jetty, u wouldnt be able to go down. You can use crab nets with food to hunt for them. :p

Don't worry about it, not landing a fish is part and parcel of fishing. I hope you can get something on your next trip and share it with us here.

lol..
Actually, if u want constant fun with ur tackle...there r many places to go. :p
Ubin is one of them, the constant attacks of the catfishes is great for light tackle or mabye that KBl might see ur bait(try to use live prawns).
I strongly suggest u do not venture in pulau ubins more"forested"habitat...
quite dangerous...
Also,theres a breakwater a the yatch club,that shld interrest u. :D :mischieve:
