It looks like a pretty bad spill, that's going to kill lots of marine life along the shore. Changi fishing charter business may probably take a hit too.

Was on a local trip at southern on 7th Jan. Fortunately, no sign of spillage there. Catch was decent as commented by the experienced anglers on board.

I think probably have to wait for up to 4 to 6 months before can go back there for fishing, newspaper mentioned it I think... Got a section of the beach closed due to oil contamination... :(
I think for now best not to eat what you catch from there yet due to this incident...

There are concerns with the fish farms affected by the oil spills as well. People will be wary of buying or eating fish from them. The fish farmers have to endure such incidents and others like algae blooms.
