who cn recommand good spot fr good reasonable sized, able to consume CRABS??

Ketam is a malay word for crab, there's actually a Pulau Ketam just below Ubin.

Am actually a noob crabber tt recently FALL in love with CRABBING...
Hopefully bros here would b GENEROUS with information regarding crabbing!!
Question that i have!! :

1. in Singapore island (meaning, not ubin or other small pulaus), is there actually reasonable sized crabs (can be eaten) to be caught??
2. Where are these places?? Any good nice spots to share around??
( Heard of Sembawang Jetty, Punggol End ) but catches, are so SMALL...
3. Mud crabs only found in swamps??
4. Best baits to use? eg, left in the open fr 2days Kumbong?
5. What traps is better at which area, eg, bento/rectanger cage?

Sorry fr all the QUESTION that i had... really fond of crabbing, and nt much info yet on crabbing, therefore ...

Do share along also wht type of traps u r using, eg, bento..
And most imptly WHAT do u do when ur traps/cage is down at the swamps?
Eg, play guitar??

Btw, i had 3 nice flower crab, mini sized, but rubber band claws. and am rearing it in tank of seawater plus a pump..
Hopefully it cn surviced. HAHAHS

i tried out, same result, a cage full of FLOWER Crab, and so mini in size tt even soft shell crab r bigger den it.. saw ur CR on 20.3.2011,

I had luck with West coast park before. two market sized mud crab and i got many large flower crabs there also

so jialat meh not even one mub crab???
i remender the last time i went there i got 3 mud crabs...
even the flower crabs i caught were all med sizes...

which side were u at the look out point or the mini jetty at west coast park?
i remender the look out point was a private jetty long time ago even the PSA was not build yet.
the ppl there allow us to fish n crab along the ramp...
catch rate was gd that time...
