hey guys me and my friend wanted to go for some crabing later on but we dunno where got mud crab :l
do u guys mind share some spot ?

hope can find some more cos i dunno of any as well now
used to have alot at kallang riverside park and at the oasis at kallang

maybe ubin??

There are some very nice coastal spots but many are off limits. Simpang area is actually a nice crabbing place but it's a protected area. I guess some crabs will seep into sembawang park from time to time so that's why people get mud crabs there.

s--pang is a gd place but u need a bicycle to get in and walking is a no no area too big... only can go on weekends.

Alibaba is it good to go crabbing now till before fasting month start coz i went to west coast park last week i came back with ZERO crab not even small crab...I was using shark meat which was left open from the night before till the night i went so its 24hours and it really stinks a lot... And to what i know crab go after stinky food...

So i was quite shock that there wasnt any crab in my net from 11pm to 7am...
Bad day for me and oso check my net there wasnt any hole that the crab could possibly ran out from the cage...

Do need ure advice coz thinking of going to catch crab again next week wed nite at longkang area near ford road at East Coast...

crabbing i knw is all year round but i heard b4 lao jiaos say got season march to april?? sorry not sure abt that but u still can try...
as 4 bait u dont really have to use rotten ones fresh baits wrks too, just go any supermarket or sheng shiong buy those leftovers damm cheap.
i cant stand using stinky baits makes mi wanna vomit n my hands stinks for days...

wow u crab at wcp frm 11pm to 7am power sia normally for mi during rising tide till max tide no crabs can pack up liao.

Nah was there for fishing too so while waiting for the fish to hook up i actually do crabbing to keep myself bz thats all...
But then ahr boh luck leh no fish no crab the whole nite... Go home empty handed leh .....
Maybe this coming Monday if got off wanna go try again liao... Fasting month starting soon so must stock up the fridge liao .....
