There are crabs all year round, don't wait for a season to experience the fun in crabbing. Do read the guide by ilurbtamban if you have not already done so.

yep, what alleycat said there isnt really a season for crabbing, you can catch them all year round so find yourself a secluded mangrove area and start crabbing. cheers

Are there any pictures of your catches to share, I would love to see them. I don't think there are mangrove trees by the jetty but I've seen people catching mud crabs there though it's usually flower crabs. There's a mangrove swamp on the opposite side of the canal beside the bottle tree park is. It's a protected area though. :P

The forum doesn't offer direct image attachment but you can upload your images on an external image host like imgur and embed the picture in your post. You can follow the video below if you're not sure.
