Hi SG Park, welcome to HLF.
You can try calling up the boatman using the numbers from
this page.
First, you tell the boatman you want to book their boat for a fishing trip. If your time is flexible, ask him for a good fishing date. Otherwise, just ask him if your desired date is available.
Here's some questions you may want to verify with the boatman.
1. The cost of the boat and max number of anglers he accepts.
2. Baits(usually live prawns). They're bought from floating fish farm on your way out to the sea to fish. You can buy the prawns yourself from tackle shop but do let the boatman know of the arrangement.
3. Ice. May or may not be included. Most boats will have their own big ice box to store the fishes caught, you need the ice too keep the fishes refrigerated.
3. Is there a toilet onboard. (Important especially if there's a lady onboard)
4. Ask about the tackles to bring. Like how many pound line strength to use, size of hooks and sinkers. If you don't know how to tie your own rigs, you can buy it off tackle shops or better yet have the boatman show you how he tie his rig.
5. Boarding place and time as well as the return time.
You need to bring your own food and drinks. If this is the first time you're doing offshore fishing, pay close attention to the boatman's advices and ask when in doubt. Practise safety at all times and look out for each other on board.
Have fun on your offshore fishing trip.
