Post by zufeeqhar »

HAHAHA Have you ever been to a trip where you bought drinks no food and you are starving?
well i did and me and my pal decided to take some prawn bait as our food
Luckily i bought some solid fuel so started a small flame and cook few prawns
So tell me have you? I did  :D

(PS:This happened on a private location so no patrol to be afraid of :D if you are doing this in public keep your eyes peeled for patrol :D :D )

Now this is interesting !

Just curious you guys brought with you aluminum foil ?
Or you just find anything usable on the beach ;X
Must be terrible having no food and feeling hungry especially during the night.

I have never get the chance to feel hungry on fishing trips.
Always well equipped with Pocky !
But we did once experienced many hours lost in the jungle of ubin without water ! :shh: :o
Thirst drove us to look for water droplets collected on leaves ...

That's actually quite fun and have done so but well prepared for it. ;) I must say that anything hot and cooked in the middle of a cold windy night while fishing in the wilderness is god sent. I've tried digging up tapioca in the wild, wrapped in leaves and cook them in the fire. Although it turned out a little charred, but the inside is still good and tasty!

You are right ... you'll come up with something when you are pushed to the limit.

I used to fish in Punggol ...
Those were the times when you are alone in a big open field facing the sea
We have done many many BBQ sessions there ...
Once we even had steamboat.

I can't remember who came up with the idea ...
We actually dug a hole and had a chicken wrapped in aluminum foil buried into it.
Slow cook with a pile of hot burning charcoal above.
Tasted ridiculously good !

Those were the good old times we had at Punggol.
How I wish we can turn back time ...
