Daiwa Seagate

Heavy duty crunching at sea is mere bread and butter to any Seagate.
In your hand you just know that the solid and precise mechanism is built for power, durability and the harsh, unforgiving world of saltwater.
The range spans from a 3500 model that is perfect for bass work and with the Quick Drag function it can operate between ‘free spool’ and ‘engaged’ with less than one turn on the knob. An asset when it comes to freelining and if you are expecting savage takes.
The 4500 will again fit the bill with light to medium shore work or lighter line classes when boat fishing. Whilst the 5000 and 6000, which are the same size and simply differ in their line capacities will handle hitting bigger distances, rough ground and boat work.
Their locked down side plate houses a sealed DIGIGEAR system and the Titanium Nitrided roller is well suited to braid main lines. Each of the bigger models features a waterproof drag and your winding grip is made easier thanks to the round EVA handle knob.
