Ah seng:catfish/sagor
Usat: stripe-tailed catfish
KBL:barramundi
Torsat:eel tail catfish?
Ang gao:snapper
Taiwan ngor:drum, red drum
Wu Guo Yu:tilapia
Tamban:sardine
Pari:stingray
Sotong:squid
Thats all i know(the rest ive forgotten)

Snapper there is a few species ... in general we call them "ang zhor" referring to snapper, chia zhor referring to golden snapper and AZK (ang zhor kee ) is the one with a black spot near it's tail.

It might just get more confusing when we throw you tons of short forms when you don't even know how the fish look like.
Browse through the fish identification section as and when you have time ...
It's pretty interesting and you gonna learn a lot from it.
