Self made stove

Post by Peace »

I finally got to work on an alcohol stove ever since Tere showed me a youtube link on how to make one. This is my first attempt, it's a little clunky but it works. :D I didn't put a wick in it so the fire is a little small. I really like its portability and low running cost. Perfect for camping/fishing trips where you already have lots of fishing equipment to drag along.

It doesn't stand very well against wind unlike a fire from fuel tablets can, but it's very clean and doesn't dirty or burn the surroundings.

You can do that or just blow it off, but you will need to drain off the remaining fuel. I would just let it use up all the the fuel and die off itself.

First you'll need to catch me a fish to cook and enough for the whole lot of us to eat.
