These false scorpions are much smaller in size than the actual scorpionfish. I have caught them from bedok and labrador jetties before, on prawn meat.

It’s very small

Yes, this is their typical size. Beware of actual young scorpionfish that looks similar to it, don't handle either of them barehanded just to be safe.
