Shark cooked with salted vegetable can be quite nice but we don't usually use blacktips.

Not only blacktips, if we're not going to eat sharks, then it's better not to target them at all. I've seen anglers specifically use live big bait to target for sharks just for the thrill. You can exhaust and even kill them unintentionally.
