i think mostly likely is Hard lip barb.

yupp i think so too as it lacks the usual diamond shape such as the tinfoil barb

erm can we find pacu and grass carp in our waters??i never seen a person caught a pacu or a grasscarp in our waters before.. ::x:

pacu might be possible cos of fishkeepers who release them when they get tired of them.... grass carp i don think they can survive in our waters

ya you are right iressponsible pet ownwers realease animal to the wild..lets try to find pacu!! and give peace the pics if we caught one..hehheh... ;)
grass carp i don think it can survive..because grass carp almostly feed on plankton but i don think resvervior have them.. :nod:

Well....they dont stand a chance in SG against the tomans and peacock bass.
But....if grass carps were left unattended....they will cause havoc.
They will first deplete the algae(i dont think its plankton) supply, leaving the local population of fishes starving(the baitfishes eg:guppy) if they multiply without check(Check i mean population control by the predators of the carp).
Next, the eco-system may collaspe.
Dont let it happen, not in SG.
Urrrgh, no time to fish now~

It's not entirely necessary but it's good to have one. Farm breds sometimes have slight colour difference from those you caught in the wild due to the environment they're bred in.
