I'm pretty sure that's not called gelama, at least not locally.

Gelama is very commonly refer to this fish:

You're correct, it's called a Sand Bass to. The common names can vary depending on the locality, but they're acceptable. If the scientific name matches, they're almost certainly the same species of fish. ;) I will add that to the fish info, thanks.

Yep, these fishes aren't very picky eaters in my experience. They like hiding among rocks, so you got to be quick to yank them away from it once you get one on the hook.
