grows pretty big. normally caught on tamban jigs when they are feeding on the bait fish

There's something about the cutting on their teeth that makes it sharp, even for the small ones. I ever got bitten by a small one caught on tamban jig, the wound is hard to close and I kept bleeding. :cry:

Where do you find this predatory fish? I hear Spanish mackerels are really tasty!

You can usually find them where there are abundance of herrings and scads. You can certainly encounter this mackerel at Bedok Jetty.
