It's a long time since we last wet our lines since returning from Luconia in April.
Did gave uncle Fong a few calls but each time ... he was booked !
Finally ... got him on a date and at the same time another one a week after for the Southern.
Yes. It's the Southern Islands ... Ricky's boat ! * pray *
As the topic suggest ... add up both CRs will be PERFECT !
Hello Changi ... miss the enchanted waters ~ muacks
It's Junior's first fishing trip on board uncle Fong's boat and I think is Scott 3rd trip.
The final head counts was dBs & Simon, Scott & Junior ( not fishing of course ),
Vidic and Terrence ( Ocean Travelers ) and our newest angling babe Crist.
My furkids Scott & Junior enjoying their little cuddles from Vidic and Simon
V for victory ... you can call it lame but she did it !
erm dad ... have you caught anything yet ?
yes ... finally ... got a fish to show off ... but ...
Scott and Junior got very excited every time a fish was landed ...
hey dad ... Crist fish so much bigger than yours !
Enough of doggie pics ... here's the pic of the total catch of the trip and my Scott !
An enjoyable and relaxing trip with Vidic and Terrence, not forgetting the xmm who has very good fishing luck.
Landed the biggest guhood all by herself.
Simon almost lost even with two fish landed if not for the white spotted ray took his line out for a ride.
It went Zzzt zzzt zzzt pass us from the back and we knew a biggie on it's way to surface ~
Action speaks louder than words ... let the videos end the first part on Changi side.
And here's one just for laughs ... uncle Fong playing with Junior ... woof woof ~
Part two ...
Southern Island ... yes it's Ricky's boat.
We jump in for a friend who kena aeroplaned ... and we had a wonderful time ...
re-capturing the events that will follow each time a fish was landed ...
O ... and how we flooded his toilet once !
Yes just the two of us in the Southern Islands with Ricky again !
Ricky's boat ... I enjoy the way to board his fishing vessel ... kinda fun.
Beautiful morning upon arrival ...with beautiful scenery to greet us with ... that's what the Southern can promise.
Wish the catches can be as beautiful as the scenery ...
Moving out to fishing spot ... what are we in for this time ? ... I have no expectation at all ...
We are prepared to "joke" it out again ... LOL !
Rain lor !!! We barely reach spot 1 and the rain came chasing after us.
Strong wind made things worst ... we were totally drenched from head to toes even before we started fishing.
There is no place to hide ...
It did bring back memories of those day when we were playing in the rain while fishing in Punggol
When it rains, you have no chance and no place of shelter, just carry on and fish in the rain.
Ricky parked his boat somewhere in the Southern, that's all I can tell ...
The heavy downpour lasted a good hour or so ... and stopped towards noon time.
Come to think about it ... I rather it carried on raining ... lol !
Am suffering from sun burns ... *pain pain*
Simon with his first and last fish of the day ... he is always a happy man whenever he gets a fish be it big or small ....
Praying for kong long fish ? toa gao hurr ? nah ... don't even hope !
Hmmm ... why did we agreed to stand-in when we knew the result ... still having some hope in Ricky ?
Or we simply enjoy the scenery of the Southern Islands ~
His expression says it all ... Southern Southern gooooooooooood !!!
It's totally different experiences fishing with uncle Fong and Ricky.
We will happily go for uncle Fong's trip over Ricky's.
Not the catch but probably more on the companionship point.
Ricky hardly fishes with you and unless you walk into the captain's cabin he will not chat with you.
Uncle Fong on the other hand will even play with Scott & Junior and make them bark.
Yes you can say I am bias ...
But fishing with uncle Fong comes with lotsa jokes and fun ... that's what we are in for.
To rest and relax and de-stress from work !
There is always surprises with uncle Fong.
If he fails to surprise you this time, he will make up for it during the next.
Once the catch rate was so so bad ... we went stole fish right under aunty's farm.
And Simon almost had to call in the widow guys to replace aunty's window panes ... LOL !
Well ... that's the fun we enjoy.
Judging from your recent catch reports, Changi waters seem to be a lot more productive than the Southern Islands. May be it's time I move over the east and wet my lines there. Not bad of a catch, seeing Simon fighting the ray motivates me to go offshore again.

Have you gone mad !?
O right ... your fishing luck all in the Southern ...
Changi ish no good for you.
And you already up on the wall of fame in the Southern terrains ...
But it's a definite NO NO for us.
给钱看海, 我不去!!!
