Though I am a loyal customer for his charter ... I find this increase untimely and uncalled for.
Couldn't agree better, his charter is the most expensive in Changi waters.
I am not a person who peg dollar to fish caught ...
but with this $50 increase, it will cost $400 excluding baits, ice, food and drinks for a day of fishing.
With the recent years catches ... I am finding it a little too expensive.
For those who know us ... we did not go on solo trip for a year.
From now on ... I guess we will have to settle for 8 kakis each trip.
Southern island, Ricky's carter is a bigger, more comfortable boat which also charges $400.
It comes with ice ... though it's not an expensive item.
Baits is also cheaper by $5 a kilo ....
Just wish uncle Ricky changes his fishing style ... I would love to head South anytime !
Anyone know if uncle Fong is the only one who up his price ?
Or all Changi boatman up prices ?
It will be interesting if he is the only one ... any news do share.
due to some unforeseen circumstances ... tomorrow's trip cancelled !
Uncle Fong's boat still in workshop ...
Heard from him that his engine has some problem.
He got it fix but some other problem occurred after taking the boat out.
Into the workshop it goes for some major overhaul this time ...

Would love to ... but my fishing schedules are pretty tight in the coming months.
June holiday will be a good timing to head there so the kids can relax and have some fun.
Sadly, the good fishing dates are out for me.
I am still keen to have one ... will keep you updated should there be a trip.
