FW3 or fishing paradise?

i wanna try out paypond fishing, so asking for tips and suggestions from ppl who went before...
1.are the prices and fishing times the same?
2. which has better catch rate?
3. what rigs to use?
4. 4000 spinning reel loaded with 30lbs braid line can tahan?

Hi patrick, heres my answers to your question,
1. FW3 - Last remembered, it should be operating from 7pm-7am during weekdays and 24/7 during weekends. Cost is $30 for 12hrs, CNR. Correct me if i'm wrong Fishing paradise - you can look at their charges here
2. I believe both have the same catch rate, u need to know where are the home of the fishes The only difference i guess fishing paradise might have more varieties.
3. lsbf works for me, you could give it a try
4. 4000 spin with 30lbs braided might be a little too big, but u can still use them. Normally, ppl would use luring setup for ponds, lets say 4-12lbs rod with 500 - 2000 daiwa reel with 10-20lbs. Its lighter and u'll enjoy the fight more as u have a hard time pulling them back .

A packet of chicken liver for $2 is available at the payment counter at fw3. Its good enough Less u want to aim other fishes like kbl, u might need to get live prawns/prawn bits/squid Hotdog/bread/live fishes are also commonly used too, but i rather eat it. Hotdog wrapped with bread?

The last time I fish there ... chicken liver cost $3 per packet liao ..
That was like at least more than a year ago ...

Hi weaver, yes u can use live bait. Chicken liver, hotdogs, squid or filet kembong or kunning are some of the common baits used.

Light tackle is good,but try not to allow to fish to tangle with other anglers fishing lines,that would cause.....problems...for you and fish.
