if you'd watched videos or pictures of lures catching the fishes you desire, why don't you get those effective ones? doesn't the videos or pictures says it all already? :)

very commonly i'd seen are the yozuri surface cruisers. be warned, it can really go distance.

they should take lures readily.... if they dont, pls try to avoid using baits as they might get used to it.... it might be the time or type of lure or presentation etc, i just recently caught a PB on lure from a canal that is baited commonly.... but, i went in the early morning and tried Continuously and got a reward :) fishes that take lures are much better fighters

If you must use bait, remember to keep the area clean. :)

Hi mr.lure, that place is commonly known as NSLK. And yes the tomans there are wow like watermelons. However due to the over fishing / luring the tomans there dont attack lures easily at all. I got my first toman there too, 3 months of waking up to take first bus from Tampines, reaching there when I can't even see my hands so, it's really how much you perservere. Lure choice wise, there are alot of weeds so u may want to use a frog, or a topwater popper or walk the dog lures. You really need to choose those that create noise though. If it doenst work still, go search the web for BAN HOCK RIG. That is a DIY 'lure' that fetches in pretty constant CR. Btw, most ppl practice sight casting over there. You may wanna do so too. Good luck.

It's actually quite appropriate, I prefer discussion of spots separated from technical questions in "ask a question". Catch reports however should be posted in the 'catch report' subforum but this is kind of relevant so it's quite alright. Thanks for bringing this up Chatellany, I'm sure there are some who ponders about this as well. :)
