Instant Noodles 123

Post by dBs™ »

How do you guys normally cook/eat your instant noodle ?
Do you just boil a pot of liquid, add in the seasoning and served the noodle as it is ?
Or do you prefer to add in little bit of extra ingredients ?
I tend to be adventurous when comes to cooking instant noodles.
Love to add in extra ingredients into the plain noodles ... it can be as simple as a fried egg.
To more complex choices like minced meat, fish balls, crab sticks, vegetables etc etc ...
The list can go on and on ...you get different flavors from different ingredients added in.

Let's do a Instant Noodle 123 and see what are the different ways we can make our instant noodle more delicious ~
At the same time ... share views on the different brand of instant noodles in the market ...

I'll kick start this series with my favourite instant food, be it for lunch, dinner or as supper in the middle of the nite.

Myjo Instant Mee Hoon

1. Opens a can of Abalone ( brand of your choice )
I choose to use New Moon, two whole chewy abalone with plenty of soup to be used for cooking the mee hoon.

2. Sliced the abalone into slices and ready to be served.
Do not add in the abalone to soup and boil together with the mee hoon, abalone will turn hard.

3. Put the soup to boil, add in the mee hoon, boil for 2-3 mins.
Pour into a bowl and adds in the abalone. Pour remaning soup onto abalone and served hot.

There there ... as easy as 123 and we have a nice bowl of pipping hot mee hoon soup with abalone.
Mee hoon is cook to tender soft and abalone is nice eaten as it is.
Try it ... you'll like it. :D

SEAFOOD PARTY

I don't remember the actual price ... $0.95 if I remembered correctly.
It is sold by the packet instate of the usual 5 in a bag which we used to buy.
Several flavour to choose from ... spicy and none spicy variety.

I bought this seafood party ... the name itself makes me wanna give it a try.
Beautiful packaging opens up to a squarish shaped noodle ...
Cook with very little water as I like my maggie mee soaked in gravy instead of soup ...
The noodle is thicker and has this QQ texture ... takes slightly longer time to soften
compared to the maggie mee which we are familiar with.
I added some pork balls for bites ...
Though the name says seafood party ... expect some light spiciness as it is Korean noodles.

Verdict after eating ... very nice !
